Online gamers are getting sucked into the game of hate. The website Discord (and others) are facilitating this. As of September 2023, Discord is the 35th most visited website in the world with 23.42% of its traffic coming from the United States.

Extremist groups use online games to identify possible supporters. For years, researchers have documented examples of extremist organizations – including the white supremacy movements and radical misogynist groups – using online games to disseminate their ideologies and identify potential sympathizers. Be wary of Discord, 4chan, 8chan, etc. They are breeding grounds for - 1. Hate Speech, 2. Hate Actions.

Immigrants have come to America for hundreds of years in search of a better life. The current wave of immigrants don't have resources at their disposal to emigrate in a way that Republicans see fit. According to Pew Research, "Republicans place particular importance on border security and deportations of immigrants who are in the country illegally, while Democrats place greater importance on paths to legal status for those who entered the country illegally."

Biden said on Saturday the Palestinian Authority should ultimately govern the Gaza Strip and the West Bank following the Israel-Hamas war. "As we strive for peace, Gaza and the West Bank should be reunited under a single governance structure, ultimately under a revitalized Palestinian Authority, as we all work toward a two-state solution." "There must be no forcible displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, no reoccupation, no siege or blockade, and no reduction in territory," Biden said. Biden used the op-ed to try to answer the question of what the United States wants for Gaza once the conflict is over. (Washington Post via Reuters - 11/18/23)

Disqualification of Trump from Holding Office Based on the 14th Amendment, Section 3
https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/4291122-the-attempt-to-bar-trump-under-the-14th-amendment-explained/
The idea of barring Trump from holding office is based on the 14th Amendment. Section 3 of the amendment notes that no one can hold office if, having previously done so and taken an oath to uphold the Constitution, they “have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”
The former president encouraged the Capitol insurrection by his words and actions. Those include repeated, false claims of election fraud as well as his speech at the Ellipse on Jan. 6, in which he contended that people had to “fight like hell” to overturn the election result or “you’re not going to have a country anymore.”
In scholarly circles, the argument got a big boost when a paper emerged in August from two members of the Federalist Society, a prominent conservative legal group.
William Baude of the University of Chicago Law School and Michael Stokes Paulsen of the University of St. Thomas Law School argued that the amendment, which dates back to the Civil War era, “remains an enforceable part of the Constitution.”
They added that the amendment “in particular … disqualifies former President Donald Trump and potentially many others, because of their participation in the attempted overthrow of the 2020 presidential election.”

The Israelis are settler colonialists. A settler-colonial state’s distinguishing feature is that it does not come into being or continue to exist without claiming sovereignty over land that is forcefully taken from its native inhabitants (Palestinians). A settler colony can only claim its sovereignty through the eradication and erasure of native sovereignty. Why should the Palestinian people be made to suffer?

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson blasts the court for its 'let-them-eat-cake obliviousness' in her dissent from the the right-wing majority decision. The right-wing majority is part of the fall-out of having Trump as President. Thankfully, we have President Biden's appointee Ketanji Brown Jackson on the court which speaks to the importance of diversity. Her perspective is vital. Wake up and smell the coffee America. Trump's idea of 'Make America Great Again' has everything to do with 'Make America white.' In truth, we all benefit from diversity. And justice for all means ALL.
