Savvy California voters want to make sure that one of the top two vote getters in the primary election (June 2) is a Democrat because in California, that's how the election works. The top two, regardless of party, will be on the ticket for Governor in November. So the best strategy to make sure we get a Democrat is to back the (D) front runner.
