Fascism depends on the idea of "us vs. them." It dehumanizes segments of the population, trying to reduce empathy and justify inhumane treatment of them. For Nazis, the segments were Jews, homosexuals and people with disabilities. For Trump's America, the segments are people of non-European origin and people with left-leaning politics. Jews were the scapegoat of Nazi's. Trump's scapegoats are immigrants and the former President (Biden)
